CDC Urges Teachers, Administrators, School Nurses to Adopt LGBT Curriculum, Endorse Transgender Identity.

“School administrators: Our LGBTQ inclusivity self-assessment tool can help you quickly gauge inclusivity at your school,” the CDC’s Division of Adolescent and School Health posted on Twitter on Tuesday. “See your score today and learn ways to increase inclusivity.”

The tool includes four assessments, one each for all users, administrators, educators, and school health services staff. The tool includes three scores: “Commit to Change,” “Beginning to Break Through,” and “Awesome Ally.” Read more

Abortion Was the Leading Cause of Death Worldwide in 2022, Killing 44 Million People.

Statistics compiled by Worldometers indicate that there were over 44 million abortions world-wide in 2022. The independent site collects data from governments and other organizations and then reports the data, along with estimates and projections, based on those numbers.

Abortion is also the leading cause of death in the United States.

“In the USA, where nearly 30% of pregnancies are unintended and 40% of these are terminated by abortion, there are between 1,500 to 2,500 abortions per day. Nearly 20% of all pregnancies in the USA (excluding miscarriages) end in abortion. Guttmacher Institute reports 930,160 abortions performed in 2020 in the United States, with a rate of 14.4 per 1,000 women,” Worldometers reports. Read more

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has ruled against the government of Bulgaria for violating the right to religious freedom of evangelical Christians in the country.

In 2008, the City Council of Burgas, Bulgaria, warned all school administrators in the city that evangelicals were “carrying out a massive campaign of agitation, tricking new members, and disuniting the Bulgarian nation”. Read more

The beginning of the New Year means that a series of radical bills passed by California legislators will now go into effect.

The Golden State is now considered a “sanctuary” for gender-confused teens who want to run away from their parents or are being encouraged by only one parent to chemically and surgically mutilate their bodies. Read more

Hospital Surgery Dept. ‘Proud’ to Announce App Targeting Children for Gender Transitions.

A publicly funded university hospital’s department of surgery publicly boasted Saturday about expanding gender transition surgeries, which will likely target children. The OHSU (Oregon Health & Science University) Department of Surgery tweeted its annual newsletter for 2022, “On the Cutting Edge,” to its Twitter account, noting, “we have every reason to be incredibly proud of the work we’ve accomplished in 2022.” Among the accomplishments they included were “expansion of gender affirming care services” and a “pilot study” app “designed to reduce anxiety in children undergoing procedures.” Read more

School district can bar trans students from using opposite-sex bathrooms, 11th Circuit rules.

The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled, in a 7-4 decision, last Friday that the St. Johns County School Board’s bathroom policy did not discriminate against trans-identified students or violate federal civil rights law.

“The school board’s bathroom policy is clearly related to — indeed, is almost a mirror of — its objective of protecting the privacy interests of students to use the bathroom away from the opposite sex and to shield their bodies from the opposite sex in the bathroom, which, like a locker room or shower facility, is one of the spaces in a school where such bodily exposure is most likely to occur,” Judge Barbara Lagoa, a Trump appointee, wrote for the majority. Read more
