Virginia governor again attempts to end taxpayer funding for eugenic abortions

For the third consecutive year, Virginia governor Glenn Youngkin has proposed a budget amendment that would eliminate taxpayer-funded abortions for fetal anomalies. According to Virginia Mercury, current state law allows state insurance to cover abortions for cases in which a doctor has diagnosed “gross and totally incapacitating physical deformity or with a gross and totally incapacitating mental deficiency.” Youngkin’s proposed budget amendment would explicitly remove this, with language saying “no expenditures from general or non-general fund sources may be made out of any appropriation by the General Assembly for providing abortion services, except otherwise as required by federal law or state statute.”

UnitedHealthcare Covers Double Mastectomies for 17-Year-Olds With Gender Dysphoria

America’s largest health insurance company covers double mastectomies for some 17-year-old girls who identify as transgender. UnitedHealthcare’s “Gender Dysphoria Treatment” guide, which took effect Dec. 1, says: “For mastectomy or breast reduction, individuals must be at least 18 years of age; however, individuals within one calendar year of turning 18 can be considered on a case-by-case basis.”

States Exclude Christian Parents From Foster Care

California law requires foster parents to affirm a child’s “sexual orientation” or “gender identity.” The mandate is being used to exclude Christians with biblical views about sexuality and relationships from the state’s foster care system. Other states, including Vermont, Oregon, Washington and Massachusetts, also exclude parents from foster care if they believe in God’s male-female design for humanity.

The owners of a Tennessee pizzeria have shown no signs of backing down after receiving a deluge of criticism for declining to cater a same-sex “wedding.” The owners of Pizzeria Cortile found themselves and their business under attack after a photo of a text message in which they confirmed that “we do not cater same sex weddings” was shared online by a local leftist media outlet, The Chattanooga Holler.
