Data Show There’s No ‘Epidemic Of Violence’ Against Trans People
In 2024 there were no reported murders of a trans-identifying person due to anti-trans bias in the United States. This might be a surprise, based on the routine headlines declaring that violence against transgender Americans is only getting worse. The Human Rights Campaign, one of the more prominent LGBT advocacy organizations, provides a list each year of reported murders of trans-identifying people.

America’s largest health insurance company covers double mastectomies for some 17-year-old girls who identify as transgender. UnitedHealthcare’s “Gender Dysphoria Treatment” guide, which took effect Dec. 1, says: “For mastectomy or breast reduction, individuals must be at least 18 years of age; however, individuals within one calendar year of turning 18 can be considered on a case-by-case basis.”

The owners of a Tennessee pizzeria have shown no signs of backing down after receiving a deluge of criticism for declining to cater a same-sex “wedding.” The owners of Pizzeria Cortile found themselves and their business under attack after a photo of a text message in which they confirmed that “we do not cater same sex weddings” was shared online by a local leftist media outlet, The Chattanooga Holler.

The National Center for Gender Spectrum Health is a radical initiative of the taxpayer-funded University of Minnesota’s Institute for Sexual and Gender Health. The stated goal of the center, which is run by World Professional Association for Transgender Health members Katherine Spencer and Dianne Berg, is to “promote the well-being of all people across the gender spectrum (including those who are cisgender, transgender, and gender diverse).”

Disney removed a character’s transgender-themed storyline from an upcoming animated series out of deference to parents who prefer to address such a subject within the family. The character’s voice actor, who self-identifies as transgender, expressed being “disheartened” by Disney’s decision — although some see the decision as marking a welcome cultural shift and a change in corporate conduct.
Read More‘Breath of Fresh Air’: Washington Post Admits More Data Needed on ‘Gender Transitioning’ Minors
In a significant shift away from reflexive support for minors undergoing “gender transition” procedures, The Washington Post editorial board published an op-ed on Sunday that called for more robust scientific research to be conducted to determine the health outcomes of puberty blockers and hormones on children.

For the past several years, the American public has been making it clear that they are sick of being force-fed transgender nonsense. Disney took a massive hit after embracing gender ideology. Bud Light’s stock cratered, and they are now releasing a string of macho advertisements (one featuring Shane Gillis) that come as close to begging Americans to drink their swill as they can get without actually apologizing. During the presidential election, Trump’s ads targeting gender ideology had an outsize impact.

Former volleyball star Payton McNabb — who was seriously injured by a trans-identifying biologically male opponent in high school — hopes that by speaking out she can aid in preventing further tragedies. In a new documentary titled “Kill Shot: How Payton McNabb Turned Tragedy Into Triumph” — created by the Independent Women’s Forum — filmmakers share what happened to McNabb when she was 17 after a trans-identifying player spiked a volleyball at her head, knocking her unconscious, the New York Post reported.

“After the U.S. Supreme Court declined to hear a case surrounding a public school district’s policy of concealing student gender transitions from parents, a veteran attorney who worked at the U.S. Department of Education is explaining the massive implications.
Earlier this week, the high court declined to hear Parents Protecting Our Children, UA v. Eau Claire Area School District, a case that would have put parental rights front and center.”
Landmark Transgender SCOTUS Case Could Reshape A Doctor’s Oath To ‘Do No Harm’
During oral arguments before the Supreme Court last week in U.S. v. Skrmetti, it became clear that the dispute is over more than just gender medicine — it’s about a realignment of medicine’s purpose. The case examines the constitutionality of Tennessee’s law banning gender-affirming treatments for minors. The prosecution claims such treatments are medically necessary, and banning them constitutes sex discrimination against children seeking such treatments to align their bodies more closely to their chosen gender.

National Health Service England announced in March that minors would no longer be prescribed puberty blockers at so-called gender-identity clinics, stating, “We have concluded that there is not enough evidence to support the safety or clinical effectiveness of [puberty-suppressing hormones] to make the treatment routinely available at this time.”

Having a trans-identifying male player on the San José State University women’s volleyball team was a very difficult experience, says the coach who was allegedly punished for speaking out about it. Melissa Batie-Smoose was suspended indefinitely as the Spartans’ associate head coach last month, just days after filing a Title IX complaint accusing San José State of showing favoritism to trans-identifying player Blaire Fleming over his female teammates on the volleyball team.
